Inspired

I know a lot of blogs like to do a theme for everyday and I enjoy it a lot.  I tried it for my blog but I can't commit to having a specific topic.  It was too hard for me.  However, I think I can commit one day a week to have a topic of introducing artists that are inspiring me right now.  Comma Workshop is one those artists right now.

I ran across her this morning on Poppytalk and I was blown AWAY by her work.  It is everything I love: text across a clean white background in free motion quilting...beautiful!

Kerry Lark is the designer of these beautiful quilts.  She has taken the traditional art of quilt making and given it a new clean and modern feeling.  She has a couple of quilts for sale at  Poppytalk Handmade and also takes custom order!  Maybe, if I am a good girl, I can snatch a quilt for Christmas...:)

I hope she inspired you today like she did me!  I can't wait to try my hand at free motion quilting with text!!

Happy Thursday!

Love,
Anna Joy
